Bridal Beauty: 30 Days Before the Wedding

With all the last minute details that require attention in the last 30 days before your wedding, your beauty routine needs to be simple and effective. Read on for my beauty routine tips for the last 30 days before your wedding!

1.Deep condition your hair. This is best done 2-3 weeks before the wedding. You want your hair to be soft and shiny but not so smooth that it wont hold a style. I love Moroccan Oil’s Restorative Hair Mask, especially on color treated or frequently heat styled hair. You can also use coconut oil as a deep conditioning mask but remember-less is more and keep it on your ends only.

2. Brighten your smile. I had great results using Crest Whitestrips in combination with a whitening tooth paste before my wedding. If you do plan on using Whitestrips, I recommend starting the treatments 4 weeks before the wedding so your smile will still be bright on the big day but you won’t be suffering too much with sensitivity.

3. Book your mani/pedi. I’m an at home manicure type of girl. However, I didn’t think twice about getting my nails done professionally for my wedding and neither should you! There’s too much going on in the last week to be fussing with this sort of thing plus it makes for a nice little break from all the last minute tasks. I chose OPI’s Be There in a Prosecco for my nails and Trust Fund’s Boy Toy for my toes. I borrowed the Trust Fund polish, which is a beautiful sky blue, from my friend so that it could be my something borrowed and blue!

4. Drink lots of water and relax! Between the rehearsal dinner and all the friends and family gathering from out of town, wedding week can be quite a tiring (and boozy) affair. Be sure to get lot’s of rest, stay hydrated and try to schedule some time to yourself to relax. You will be glad that you did!
