
I had originally planned on posting a Valentine’s Day themed baking post but Jonathan is out of town right now. I just couldn’t bring myself to bake something chocolatey when he isn’t here to enjoy it. Instead I decided to make a Valentine’s Day themed pink breakfast smoothie! This recipe has been my go to weekday morning smoothie for a few years now. My Perfect Day Pink Smoothie is a great way to start the day, it’s loaded with antioxidants and protein. Sometimes I also add Proteins Plus protein powder for an extra boost.
Perfect Day Pink Smoothie
1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
1½ cups frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
¼ cup Greek yoghurt
2 medium carrots, chopped
2 Tbsp hemp seeds
